April showers bring May flowers, and nothing goes better with a rainy day than a hot cup of tea! Tickets to Pierpont's afternoon tea include your choice of finest teas paired with delicious twists on classic finger sandwiches, scones, and patisserie. Enjoy the stunning view from Pierpont’s private and luxurious Belvedere room, overlooking the Grand Hall of historic Union Station while you dine.
The delightful practice of afternoon tea began in the 1840’s with the Duchess of Bedford, who experienced a “sinking feeling” in the long hours between lunch and dinner. She found that some cake and tea was the cure, and her habit quickly became a ritual across all of Britain. We hope that our decadent afternoon tea will make you feel like royalty too!
For some added indulgence, selections from our award-winning wine list and innovative cocktail menu are also available for purchase!
Adult tickets are for anyone 13 yrs and older.
Children's tickets are for ages 12 & under and will receive a simplified menu.
Everyone in your party attending this event must have a ticket in order to join your table; limited seating is available.

All ticket sales for our Afternoon Tea events are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, please contact us in advance, and we will be happy to apply your fee toward a future Afternoon Tea, Wine Dinner or Wine Tasting event.
