The delightful practice of afternoon tea began in the 1840’s with the Duchess of Bedford, who experienced a “sinking feeling” in the long hours between lunch and dinner. She found that some cake and tea was the cure, and her habit quickly became a ritual across all of Britain. We hope that our decadent afternoon tea will become a tradition for you too!
